Interaction Between Surface and Underground Waters of the Itapemirim and Itabapoana River Basins in the Southern part of the State of Espírito Santo, Southeastern Brazil

Itapemirim River basin and part of the Itabapoana are located in southern area State Espírito Santo, covering 26 municipalities. Knowledge these basins’ hydrogeological characteristics provides information on groundwater potential behavior river base flow during dry seasons. The objective this study is to assess relationship between surface underground waters from analysis hydrograph units tubular well logs. had highest rates with mean specific capacity 1415.1 m3 /h/m, while wells yielded 0.6941 /h/m. percentage discharge relation total exceeded 60% all seasons both basins.
